Sri Lankan Food Fair

The 'Sri Lankan Food Fair' is an event organized by the Honorary Consulate of Sri Lanka in Western Australia together with the Kenwick Buddhist Temple, Sri Lankan Cultural Society and the RIDMA foundation, and it is set to be held on the 3rd of October, 2021. The event will allow guests to savour traditional fare, while raising funds to support COVID-19 relief efforts in Sri Lanka. On receiving an invitation from the Consulate, RCOBAWA accepted and agreed to run a food stall serving Sri Lanka-style fried rice at the event. RCOBAWA & STCOBAWA have come together in this endeavour and will be operating it as a joint stall. The organizers have facilitated an online payment link, which you can access beneath the event flyer and follow in order to proceed to the online order and payment system.

We also request all RCOBAWA members to assist in the following activities to ensure our stall and the event will be a resounding success.

- Organising (Preparation of ingredients and cooking)

- Operating the stall on the day of the event

- Participating in a flyer drop to residential mailboxes. (Details to follow)

- Attending the event with families and friends as a show of support.
