RIDE & CHILL 9 (Wedge Island)

Dust off the recovery boards, Old Royalists! Our next Ride & Chill is all organised: RIDE & CHILL 9 heads to Wedge Island on Saturday 7 November 2026.

A big thank you to Pubudu and Manjula for putting this one together. Wedge Island sits on the Turquoise Coast about two hours north of Perth, between Lancelin and Cervantes, with white sand tracks, coastal dunes and ocean views that make it one of the favourite 4WD spots within reach of the city.

Who’s coming

Some of our off-road regulars have already confirmed their spot. If you’re planning to join, please drop Pubudu a message directly so the organisers know how many vehicles and people to expect.

No 4WD? No worries

You don’t need your own four-wheel drive to come along. You’re welcome to jump into one of the cars with spare seats, so it’s a great chance to experience a beach and dune run with people who know the tracks. Let Pubudu know you need a seat when you get in touch. Or just hold onto a rope from a towbar and allow yourself to be pulled along the silken sands…

Good people, great tracks, bigger views

As always, Ride & Chill is as much about the company as the driving. Expect a day of convoy driving, a few dune climbs, time to relax by the coast and plenty of catching up with fellow Old Boys. Whether you’re a seasoned off-roader or it’s your first time on the sand, everyone is welcome.
